This is unusual for me, to make a post that is not focused on something, however I have some WordPress website updates that could not wait. I guess these may become a regular thing but I will not guarantee it.
$100 Guest Posting Winner
I give away $100 a month to a lucky guest poster on this blog. In August Tim Wicks from http://best-kindle.info/ won the hundred dollars for his post called The Art Of SEO. Even though it was posted on the 16th of August it still won with the most unique traffic hits. Ben’s post about 18 link building techniques which was posted on the 22nd of August was a very close second.
If you think you can write some killer content like these guys did then please join in with this website and start guest posting now. You better watch these two guys I mentioned above, as they will probably be in the running for September’s money too.
Commenting Rules on This Website
I have been working on a new set of commenting rules for this website. The article will be posted in a few days and when this is done the new rules will be set in force.
One of the rules is that people must use their real name@keyword or just name. It is really driving me crazy that people put their keyword in the name section when I have installed keyword love and comment Luv to give you links. I have let some people slide through because I know them, however I will not do this now.
Updates for WordPress Websites Case Study
If you missed the post about my recent WordPress website case study, be sure to check it out. Anyway I just thought I would let you know that the website has made $300 so far this month. That’s only 3 sales but I am hoping to make as much as last month or hopefully more. Here is a screenshot from commission junction.
I have started guest posting using links pointing back to this case study website. I have done three so far. Will see what happens with that.
Shock News – Dave Navarro has closed down “The Launch Coach”
not sure if any of you know Dave Navarro but today he closed down his famous website and product “The Launch Coach”. he does not really give a good reason why and it is really no one’s business. I am a little bit worried about this because he has also decided to give away every product that he has ever made. This is a total shock to me as I cannot even imagine why he did this.
You can read his goodbye note and also access all of these products at this link http://www.thelaunchcoach.com/goodbye-my-friends/
Dave has mentioned that he will welcome donations but it is not mandatory. When you see the content that he is giving away, you will definitely feel guilty by taking it without donating.
Anyway that’s it for the WordPress Website Updates.
What do you think about Dave Navarro closing his doors?
